Rest In Pieces -

A ghoulish story about a pirate ghost seeking revenge on a gang of hooligans that destroy tombstones in a turn-of-the-century cemetary.

Here Comes the Ice Cream Truck Again, by Ima Killim

(The place where I'm staying is visited by an ice cream truck hourly, with the stupid repeating chime-- usually Turkey in the Straw but sometimes changes it up with Deck the Halls, or Happy Birthday)

I Feel Your Pain

Deer of the Dawn visits Cheval during a summer stay, where there are 3 ice cream trucks that drive through the neighborhood everyday, because of the amount of children that play nearby.

"Soul, Sit Down and Shut Up: an Exposition of Psalms 42-43 for the Impatient Faithful," by Dahvyd Anachronism
"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor

"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."
