Ok, you're on that same island again, and just like last time wiht the book, you only have one DVD to watch, and it has to be a single film, you can't say LOTR and get all three, pick ONE!, A Film to watch over and over again. You have a nice big plasma screen and surround sound and a dvd player, so what do you pick. Yes yes, where is the electricity coming from, where do you plug in the tv, ummm right into the palm tree.
Anyways, what film do you choose to watch over and over being trapped on this island for years and years to come. Cheers.
I go with Akira Kurosawa's - Rashamon Cheers.

"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I think that if (as an outsider) that if ouyt on an island together (unless laws forbade such of course)...the lot of you would be MAKING movies rather than watching.
