In the "news" section on the official SRD site is this blurb...
As it happens, Russell Crowe has decided NOT to take on the role of Thomas Covenant, no doubt (drum-roll, please) because he considered it too taxing. Imagine my surprise. As you may know, money people typically commit to a movie, not because they like the project, but because a "bankable" star has agreed to participate. Therefore the "Covenant" film remains purely hypothetical.
(There goes my iced tea all over my monitor again!!!)
And I believe in you
altho you never asked me too
I will remember you
and what life put you thru.
~fly fly little wing, fly where only angels sing~
~this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you~
...for then I could fly away and be at rest. Sweet rest, Mom. We all love and miss you.
I don't think actors should be required to read a whole novel in order to do a character within that novel, even if it is the protagonist. Sure, Crowe or whomever might get brownie points from us Covenant fans for sitting down and reading through the Chronicles, but their job is to act, not write book reports. And good actors like Russell Crowe do their job very well.
I'd call you a newbie, but you're to old to be a newbie
Amy since the beginning of the Watch-a difference between truth and fact? Maybe to Politicians and the British but you're butthead! The Watch is my home Spoiler

bite me!
As it is mine. Get a life
And there is a difference between truth and fact. Truth is in the eye of the beholder... Fact isn't. Fact is fact, and cannot be argued with.
