It is Wednesday 7pm - 9pm central time. It is on Facebook. They ship. They post what comics are being auctioned on Monday. They give away a free book every auction. I won one.

Are you on fb? I can invite from there or give you a description of the group. I have now won two of the free giveaways. The only person to do so. Moon Knight number one.. from 1980. And Avengers #196, the first full appearance of Taskmaster.aTOMiC wrote:Yep. That would be cool
I usually go after the cheaper miniseries.

I am currently a member of Comic Book Collecting and Comic Book Collectors Marketplace. If you give me the name of your group I can find it and join.

It is out of Houston.
Let me know if you have any problems.
Even found one of your posts. You were very complimentary of the stores.
Must be a great experience to actually get to go there.
If I ever make it out of Florida and am heading that way it would be nice to see for myself.

After my unfortunate comic selloff a few years ago I am happy to report that my collection has grown back to 1200 books. I originally had about 8k but I am making progress to erase those losses.
Still have a very long way to go.

Tom - super helpful store. With a few locations. We do a monthly graphic novel club as well. Different stores have their own clubs. Our location is doing ghe classic Fantastic Four first appearance of Galactus and the new Nuria book. We've been doing Zoom for over a year but will be starting a combo Zoom/live soon.

Sgt null and others - when I was at a book store for some reason seeing comics spurred a memory.
Several years ago I was at a flea market and one section had this guy seeling all sorts of books and comics. I mean literally 1000s of comics.
Obviosuly the huge downside was they were in discernible order that I figured out (but maybe they were - I didn't look closely - I just thumbed through couple Spider -Men comics)
Anyway that is one option if you have a flea market that has someone like that in a section AND you have tons of patience or williness to try comics that may not be widely available.

Not every person is going to understand you and that's okay. They have a right to their opinion and you have every right to ignore it.
