Kevinswatch Anthology 2023

Post by aTOMiC »

Hello.

I thought I'd post a little reminder that Kevinswatch Anthology will not be returning in 2023.

Happy New Year.

That's too bad. I didn't have anything that I didn't want to submit.

Kevinswatch Anthology 2023

Post by peter »

I've been hearing people talk about the anthology ever since I joined.

I've never seen it, don't know what it is, haven't a clue either what one submits or how one goes about doing it.

I'm aware that it's seemingly face down in the water, but I'd like to at least see one at some point, even if the thing is never revived.

Any suggestions, links or anything?

:)
It takes a particular kind of arrogance to think you know what's best for millions of your countrymen. Anyone with any kind of political ambition should be immediately sent of to tend for pigs, or pick cauliflower by hand, in order that they have time to meditate on this and learn some humility.

It took around 7000 years for us to get from the stone age to where we are today. By current estimates it will take us around 73 minutes to get back there again.

....and the glory of the world becomes less than it was....

I used to hear about it, but don't remember anything.

It's a bit like a sort of phantom memory that exists: a folk-lore thing that everybody is sure was around at some point, but nobody has actually seen themselves.

I love it. It's better that way!

:D

One of the Watch's legends, spoken of only in awed whispers. Much like Chatbane, although that's more like a story told to children to scare them into behaving.

If you want to find out more I am sure Atomic would be willing to help.

Well the Anthology series was very real for a few years. Many of our most talented member writers contributed. We used a vanity press (lulu.com I think) to publish all 3 volumes. I believe I have the original files on a flash drive somewhere.

Thanks Tom.

Mystery solved!

There is a huge corpus of ...... No my descriptive powers fail me. Suffice to say, the whole world is here to be found in the pages of the Watch if you look for it. Gleaning out a selection would be a lifetime's work! More power to the brave individuals who tried it!

Still no explanation about what it actually is, though....
