I was on grandma duty so didn’t get to do all the games yesterday … but today is a new day! (I’m going back to the ACT to spend Halloween with my grandson lol ~ we’re going to carve pumpkins on Monday 30 ready for Halloween on 31.

Halloween was celebrated differently in the UK and down under … All Hallows Eve & Guy Falks … where we customarily light bonfires and let off fireworks (crackers as they were once called).

No trick or treating as that we saw as an “American thing” but it’s taking on a new life of it’s own … my daughters live in Googong which is a lovely new estate in a lush valley ~ a smallish community and they’re doing trick or treating there and the township ceremoniously dubbed “BOOgong” … just for Halloween lol . So we’ll dress up as ghouls and get into the ghoulish spirit with my gorgeous 7yo grandie lol It’s gonna be fun
