Whatcha been playing lately?

I think I beat the first boss in Valheim, but didn't go further. It seems like a great game for playing with friends, which, channeling George Thorogood, "I game alone."
"You make me think Hell is run like a corporation."
"It's the other way around, but yes."

The new Zelda game on the Switch. It's pretty neat again.

All these years of reading Avatar’s posts on Kenshi finally got me to try out the game. So far I’m having a good time.

It's a great game. :D I'm playing it again myself.

I picked up each of the 3 unique Skeleton recruits, levelled them to the 80's, and now I've given them each a squad of 10 headless thralls who are being trained up as martial artists. :D

Pathfinder: Kingmaker

Real old school D&D style. Enjoying it mostly...even though it can be a bit tedious. Getting close to 100 hours and there is still plenty of campaign to go. Like...plenty. :D

Spent most of my week off playing Hogwarts Legacy, and it was not bad. Not brilliant, but not bad. Combat is particularly fun, setting is great, story / quests are OK.

Had some major stability issues the first couple days, but I think that was more due to mods than anything else, mostly resolved when I gave up on the mod for adjusting camera distance / angle etc. (All other mods were fine.)

Finished the main story-line in about 40(ish) hours of actual play time, and am 65% of the way complete. Will probably not bother much more with it.

Debating going back to Kenshi (again) or trying a couple of the other games I got on the last steam sale. (Hellish Quart, Survivalist: Invisible Strain and Manor Lords.)

I've been playing Baldur's Gate 3 (of course) on my son's Steamdeck and it's friggin awesome.

I've also gone back to playing Neptune's Pride over at np4.ironhelmet.com. Highly recommended multiplayer space game. I just finished a 64-player game and it was a blast.

It's on my list, but I'll wait for a decent sale before I buy it. Also, "Party" games are not usually my cup of tea...Stuff like the Dragon Age games, (although I have played 2 of them), just get a bit annoying for me.

I've ended up diving into Survivalist: Invisible Strain.

Despite some initial struggle getting into it, and the art style which is not usually one I favour, it has turned out to be pretty compelling, and with surprising depth, especially for an indie 1-man developer. Early access yet, but pretty impressed. Sorta like if Kenshi and State of Decay had a bastard hybrid child.
