My Artist Edition of SoS arrived 20 minutes ago!! It's beautiful!! :D :D :faint:

And Grant "pulled a fast one on us," check out www.thedarktower.net for a photo of the cover of the book I'm holding.


Not one word, people, I promise.... ;)

I have a new scanner, but I don't know how it works... :? if I can figure it out I'll try to scan in the artwork somehow, if y'all are interested. There's one pic that's not really a spoiler, but it's pretty shocking to see anyway....

I'm turning chartreuse with envy. :haha:

However, I'm not sure I want to see potential spoiler artowrk. I felt Bernie Wrightson's illustration of a Wolf in Wolves of the Calla gave away the fact that the Wolves were robots, hundreds of pages before King confirmed this in the story.

Rather bummed me out. :-x

Oh my gosh, I finished it, and I can't talk to anybody about it for such a long time...!!!

It's a rollercoaster ride, for sure. Nonstop, fast paced, flying along by the seat of your pants, flat out terrified for the charaters I've come to love, from (this is only a very minor spoil)

I couldn't put it down. I locked myself in my room today for the last 120 pages or so, and refused to come out till it was done. I wanted no distractions if I ended up bawling like a little baby. :shifty:

And I won't say anymore. There's one thing I would very much like to say, that would have made the going a little less grueling for me.....but I won't, 'cause some people might consider it a spoiler, even though it's really not, but it kind of is.... :twisted:

Do any other characters from prior books make an appearence that we haven't seen in the TOWER books themselves? Do tell...don't say who, but just a yea or nay!

My local bookstore just got in a copy of SoS - it looks a lot shorter than Wolves...

I'll not be getting it yet, however - But the paperback of Wolves is out soon, so I'll be getting that one :)
