I had to fly to King Island for a court case (I was an “expert” witness and it was work ). It involved driving 2.5 hours to the airport at 5am (regional flight which doesn’t fly out of my city), catching a 20 seater twin engine plane to the island, giving 2 hours of evidence, waiting for a 5:30pm flight back to the regional airport and then driving 2.5 hours back home. Got home at 9:30pm… not to mention a late night the night before preparing for it.

So exhausted. Huge day. But anyway, back to work!

I love King Island ~ I got to go there with work too ~ which was pretty silly cuz we went to ensure the airport & seaports were secure & compliant with the relevant legislation lol

A post 9/11 initiative ~ well our transnational commitment to ensuring ports were adhering to the standards the US required to continue trading with us.

But as you know there’s not much of air or sea port infrastructure ~ well not in 2014

There is minimal to no security at the airport on King Island
