So....I'm not sure about the specifics, but I'll try to post more information when I get it. I may have to do so illicitly again....

Sorry y'all....not trying to be an alarmist, but I wanted to put the warning out....

I wish you were. I've been personally spammed by Darth V2.02.01 about four times this morning already.Ur-Vile wrote:Just kidding, my friend.
It's hard to figure out those e-mails at times, I mean, anyone can put together a nice imitation these days wiht the right programs. Thats why its best if you're updating or anything like that to just go to the website itself and od it there, most of them have a secure type of encryption that helps prevent such issues, but just when the good guys think of something smart, the bad will think of how to take advantage.duchess of malfi wrote:There are a lot of scam artists out there. I have been getting quite a few emails lately telling me that my credit card info for my ISP is out of date and I have to update it. The messages look incredibly real. The thing is, they go into my spam basket rather than my real email basket, and real messages from AOL go into the real basket...so I have been lucky enough to not be stung...yet.
