I got Blast Tyrant by Clutch the other day. Never heard them before, but I'm quite impressed. My favourite song on the album at the moment is Profits of Doom. You know, they remind me somewhat of Monster Magnet...Caer Sylvanus wrote:Clutch...
Funny, I was just talking about Sigh and In Extremo over at my board
As for Sigh and In Extremo, I managed to download both of them from Soulseek. In Extremo are pretty similar to Subway to Sally in concept, but they seem to employ more bagpipes than Subway do. One of the Sigh albums is good, the other is so-so. If you can grit your teeth and be patient with Soulseek, both bands are worth a listen.

Not bad either. I'm trying to download some Meshuggah, and a friend is copying a Dream Theatre album for me.illucid wrote:Rhapsody, Stratovarious, Sevendust

"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”
