I actually Hail to the Thief in my Car and am going to listen to it on the way home from work tonight. I think I played it non-stop for 2 weeks when I first bought it. It's my favorite album from last year.

I had seen Pearl Jam in June of last year, who also put on a good live show.

My Top three Concerts are

1. Tool (Maynard is one of the BEST vocalists EVER)
2. Pearl Jam
3. Radiohead

I've recently discovered Yahoo Launch, so my listening is fairly random right now - atm Everclear is playing, I'm hoping one of the bands I've rated will play soon, however.

Private Radio ~ Billy Bob Thornton

Some of his most inventive music. Not all of it works, but a lot. And working in his own private studio he was able to get just the right vocal effects he wanted. Sexy voice. He rocks. :)

All should bow to the uplifting and mighty anthems celebrating the unity of the workers. All else pales into insignificance as capitalist drivel.

Today, Borknagar by Borknagar, Point #1 by Chevelle (the singer clearly wants to be Maynard Keenan) and Hellbilly Deluxe by Rob Zombie.

I'm listening to Past Masters, Volume 2. It's a collection of singles the Beatles released during the latter half of their career. Back then, singles were left off albums, so this album is very essential, having such stuff on it like "Hey Jude", "Revolution", "Lady Madonna", "Rain", etc.

a collection of love songs recorded by Ella Fitzgerald :) 8)
I'm Beginning To See The Light Lyrics

I never cared much for moonlit skies
I never wink back at fireflies
But now that the stars are in your eyes
I'm beginning to see the light
I never really went in for afterglow
Or candlelight on the mistletoe
But now when you turn the lamp down low
I'm beginning to see the light
Used to ramble through the park
Shadowboxing in the dark
Then you came and caused the spark
That's a four-alarm fire now
I never made love by lantern-shine
I never saw rainbows in my wine
But now that your lips are burning mine
I'm beginning to see the light

Used to ramble through the park
Shadowboxing in the dark
Then you came and caused the spark
That's a four-alarm fire now
I never made love by lantern-shine
Never saw rainbows in my wine
Now that your lips are burning mine
I'm beginning to see the light
I'm beginning to see the light
I'm beginning to see the light
Love as thou wilt.

I've been listening to Steve Goodman lately. He's best known for writing the lyrics for the tune City of New Orleans that Arlo Guthrie made popular. This song's been running through my head the last few days:
Video Tape
Steve Goodman

If your life was on video tape
Wouldn't everything be all right
When your head hurt the morning after
You could roll it back to late last night
You could replay all of the good parts
And cut out what you don't like
Oh wouldn't you be in good shape
If your life was on video tape

If everybody had ESP
Everything would be okay
We could see trouble coming
And we could step out of the way
When that grim reaper comes to call
We could arrange to be out of town
Oh, that would be the great escape
And you could put it on video tape

Now I don't have a video recorder
And I don't have a crystal ball
When I'm not with my baby
Lord I don't have very much at all
I can't predict the future
Babe I sure can't change the past
But I know it will all make sense
If you love me in the present tense

If your life was on video tape
Wouldn't everything be all right
When your head hurt the morning after
You could roll it back to late last night
You could replay all of the good parts
And cut out what you don't like
Oh wouldn't you be in great shape
If your life was on video tape
