Duchess, I am actually shedding tears, partly for the joy you all shared and (big) partly for my sadness that I did not get to share. Thank you for the pics and the diary. So thoughtful. Speaking for myself, it makes me feel included.
I hope Danlo will do it again next year, so that more of us may have the chance make the trip.
You are all very special people. I don't have to see you in person to know that.

Thank you, Cate. I know how many dear, good people here wanted to come to Elohimfest, but couldn't for one reason or another. I want to share my experiences with them, so that they can be part of the "family". :)
More will come of both pictures and diary, so check them every few days. 8)
Love as thou wilt.

Hey Dutchess and family-- I recieved the most beautiful lilies today and I can't thank you enough!!! You are so thoughtful and kind. They made my heart sing :) It was a pleasure meeting you and your family and taking Danlo to the Grand Canyon was beyond expectations. We have sad news in our home and that is Annbelle (Jam dog) passed this past Sunday. We were devastated and have a very big void in our hearts. For those of you who met Jam at Elohimfest she got very sick (cancer) after the fest and we put her down. We sent several days without a dog and finally we knew we needed another dog in our life and to move on. We went to the Humane Society today and found JoJo who is an Austalian shepard/ blue Healer mix. She is so loving and well behaved we can't believe it. We are truly blessed. Jam would be proud of us! I hope all is well with all of you and hope to hear from you soon.

Love,
Tam

PS Sam and Chanel are doing great!

Very sorry to hear that :( I know how pets can truly become part of the family and when they pass on, it leaves an empty space. Her suffering has ended and she is at peace now. :) Probably chasing rabbits or frisbees in doggie paradise as we speak. :D

God bless :hearts:
And I believe in you
altho you never asked me too
I will remember you
and what life put you thru.

...for then I could fly away and be at rest. Sweet rest, Mom. We all love and miss you.

The blue glow in Andelaine must be from whatever arcane ritual High Lords Damelon and Variol Farseer were enacting. :)

*BUMP*

It's just not right that this thread, and duchess's & Damelon's photography efforts, should have dropped out of sight and out of mind. So for new Watchmembers who may not have been aware of the events of Elohimfest, take a look at the pretty pics!

Damelon's album

duchess's album

It's totally eerie how the landscape images--particularly the canyon shots--remind me so much of the Land in my mind's eye. Is SRD absolutely sure he didn't base the Land on New Mexico?? (gets throttled by danlo)
