Yeah, I'll admit it about myself. I'm all over many boards denigrating the upcoming film, because I think by definition, it's going to be very depressing and the outcome is already a done deal.

Nevertheless, I'll be there opening weekend. So who's the chump here? Lucas or me?

Roland you have a good point. How many of us will actually boycott the film? You can count me out. I'll be there and about 5 months later I'll buy the dvd. I'm addicted no matter how bad it is for me. Besides I have to see what happened to Anakin for myself. Darth Vader is one of the best movie villains of all time. Who wouldn't want to see exactly how he became such a colossal jerk?

Ah, Tom, but will Vader become a colossal jerk? Or will Lucas downplay even that aspect of the story?

That's why I won't be able to stay away. I want to see if Lucas sells out or courageously presents the depressing picture that the middle trilogy "demands" that this film be, to make any sort of sense at all.

I Love Star Wars.
The old movies are so much fun! Darth Vader is the best baddy. heh. Han was pretty funny as well.
The first time around, I didn't like the new movies very much, but I really enjoy them now. The acting could be better, but I'd watch it just for Ewan.
So, I can't wait for the third movie to come out. :letsparty:
