A Midwest Elohimfest???
I'm just wondering, does anyone other than myself live in the Midwest???
If so, what do ya'll think of an impromptu Elohimfest? Maybe a movie, dinner and afterwards, discussion of the Chrons, Gap or whatever? Omaha is reknowned for it's restaurants, and the Henry Doorly Zoo. (We now have an ape exhibit?)
If you live in the midwest, let me know!!! We can be just as cool as them southwesteners and Brits!!!!
I can plan it so we could have a great time!!!!

His response: "Holy $&!^. He's not kidding! Look at all these muffins!"

I'll come, but it will mean that I shall stay forever and ever, or atleast until the police escort me to the nearest airport and stamp evil alien on my passport. You have been warned.
Can I come then?
Can I come then?
The reality is in this head. Mine. I'm the projector at the planetarium, all the closed little universe visible in the circle of that stage is coming out of my mouth, eyes, and sometimes other orifices also.

I live just a hop and a skip from you - about 2 1/2 hrs east of Kansas City. Omaha would be ok by me. I think at this point, if we could covince Mr. Donaldson to meet with us again, I would go anywhere - but even if it's just us Watchers, I'm up for it.

I think we should all try to get together in November, 2005 in Madison, Wisconsin at the World Fantasy Convention. SRD seems to often give readings at that particular convention, and should be working on book two of the Last Chrons by then.
Romeo, who is a lot of fun, has already signed up to attend. I will be sending in my money next time I get paid. There is a link and more info up in announcements in the SRD book tour thread.

Yeah, Damelon, good idea!Damelon wrote:If you can't wait until late 2005, lets see where SRD goes this fall on his book tour. Perhaps an improvised Elohimfest could be done on a tour date?
As I've said elsewhere, I'm planning on going to the nearest tour stop located in the southeast - but if something like a mini-E'fest was planned around a site anywhere then I would be interested.
So, uh, is it October yet???
By the way - Madison WI is a cool place to visit. If we have an Elohimfest there (unfortunately in 2005,) that would be awesome.
Be sure to bring yer parkas though! November can be quite WINTERY - global warming or not!

Yes, Madison is a beautiful little city.
And, yes, the winter climate in the Great Lakes states can be brutal...though luckily it is EARLY November, so hopefully there will be no major blizzards to contend with.
And for those of us who would like to go -- let's all hope that there is no home UWis football game that weekend to suck up all of the hotel rooms, good restaurants at meal times, and clog all of the streets with traffic.
