Pacifiers?! That sounds like you're using a cattle prod on your baby 8O

seems to me that using a cattle prod would do anything but pacify a child. That's when you do what I do, stick a plastic bag on its head until the kid calms down!

Mmm... Eliza Dushku is so pretty...

I think I agree with Fist over Furls' regarding fantasy material. *cough* Did I say that out loud? :D

Somehow I didn't see this post until just now. Yeah, I'd love it!! I'm actually learning how to play at this moment. Er, I mean for the last couple weeks. I've collected many many cards, just because I think they're pretty cool. Turns out I've been collecting some GOOD cards, according to a guy who works with me during the summer months, so he's been teaching me. Pretty fun so far, and, as I tend to get obsessive/compulsive about such things, I've bought more than $80 worth of more good cards in the last week.
:LOLS:
So how would we go about playing via the internet?

"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Eek! I'm going to need to brush up on the rules since I last read them - in the Fourth Edition. In the absence of anyone around here who has ever even heard of Magic, I didn't bother keeping up with the rule changes.

Probably the most important rule change since then is the recent addition:
Always defer to the American player.

 Oh crikey...see what you did Fist???

ummm, I doubt if I would be "fantasy material" at the moment...rumbled clothes, bags under the eyes, stringy hair, and still some baby pudge. More like the crypt keeper than some fantasy goddess. LOL!!

Thank you tho, a girl does need to hear things like that, especially when she's 40 and running on fumes. :hearts:
And I believe in you

HUBBA, HUBBA! Cripes! My sister gave two of the first decks (M:tG) for my birthday a loooong time ago-I should have held on to them. No wonder that guy gave me $50 for them at the yard sale! :faint:

Those cards are great! :D
I never really bothered with magic cards although a friend of mine works in a shop that sells lots of those types of things. I love the pictures though. Maybe I should invest in some.....

Am curious though - I can understand the one with Eliza Dushku... ;) but why the pic of Seth Green?

 I meant seeing him as any other character. I have only seen him in less that serious roles apart from Buffy...but then again I don't know Amok so I could be totally off the mark.... sorry.

Chrys, there's a thread where we discussed who would play what characters in a TC movie. Some of us (maybe me more than anybody else :)) thought that the Buffy cast would do nicely. Spike as TC, Faith as Elena, Oz as Amok. I think Oz and Scotty Evil share Amok's playfulness and humor. But you'll have to read The Illearth War to see if you agree. :D

Oh right-thanks for explaining :) I was just curious. I could see Spike in that role actually (but having seen him in real life he is a bit short from the picture i have painted :P)
But yes...sorry to ask...will read the books before I start with more questions :)
Those are great cards though :D
