This is like asking a parent which child he loves the best. An answer is quite impossible.

I'm kind of burnt out on Star Wars. Still get a fresh feeling from watching the "better" Star Trek movies (Khan, First Contact, Voyage Home), so I'll go with Star Trek for now. Despite that verdict, I still feel Star Wars has the more interesting universe, overall. Kirk versus Luke = dead Captain. Unless, that is, Kirk is in his Enterprise, sitting in that Captain's chair going "my preciousss".

They're equal to me - ST has better technology, better looking ships, SW has better battles, 1 great villian and of course - lightsabers.

I was a Trekker before Lucas even directed American Graffitti, much less Star Wars. For me, it will always be Trek, then Wars.

I like Star Wars, because I have never seen an episode of Star Trek, and don't want to, I think it looks crap. I know that sounds harsh, but, oh well. Don't try to convert me, it won't work. :P :)

I am sorry. I don't mean to offend anyone, I am just not interested in Star Trek.

Looking at the results, this appears to be one of the closest polls we've ever had.

Hey, Haruchai, no offense taken. I had a good laugh at your comment--you don't beat around the bush! :)

(I don't know how the hardcore Trekkers feel about it, though.)

I think each seems to fill in the gaps of the other. What one is lacking the other posseses. However there aren't many times while watching SW that I sit there and say "Gosh I wish Luke could transport up to the ship."

I voted Star Wars because Trek can be tedious at times, and the Star Wars concepts are better.

Oh Yeah! I got credit *Dances* heh. :P

I watched my first Trek episode yesterday... And I felt suicidal... It was just so dull and boring... I wanted to do something less painful than watching like scrap my skin off or something.
