Family Guy rocks. So visually quirky its worth watching even if the volume control is broken on your telelvision. I plan to pick up everything available on dvd.
"If you can't tell the difference, what difference does it make?"
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Geez, man, you're supposed to use another cleverly veiled reference so I know you know. Didn't you get the memo?
Or wait, maybe it's me not getting the reference... good stuff? Ah well, I'll send you a copy of that memo anyway.

Heh, I haven't always been in the navy, danlo. While I was out, I spent a lot of time on a certain friend's couch laughing so hard at Family Guy that I couldn't breathe and my cheeks would ache for an hour afterward. Like the episode where there's a nuclear holocaust so they go looking for the twinkie factory or Peter declares his house its own country.
Did anybody see the ep where Peter falls while crawling out his bedroom window and Spiderman saves him? He tells Spidey thanks and Spiderman replies "Everybody gets one." I use that line all the time (most recently while watching Spiderman 2).
Stewey's the best, tho.

Q. Why do Communists drink herbal tea?
A. Because proper tea is theft.
Halfway down the stairs Is the stair where I sit. There isn't any other stair quite like it. I'm not at the bottom, I'm not at the top; So this is the stair where I always stop.
Family Guy used to be my favorite show. Then Venture Brothers happened, and it managed to just barely top Family Guy. I will watch the new season, though, Family Guy should get another chance to prove its genius.
