Jesus... I'm reading LOADS of complaints about the titles of Star Wars... Why? Are you people that sad that you have nothing better to do than rip on a title? Here's a thought:
Who Cares?
It's a title. Get over it people... Please... I implore you... Stop complaining about a dismissible title, and get on with life... #
Oh yes, I do agree with you, I couldn't care less about the title as long as the film is good.
Unfortunately this might not be the case judging by the other two. I didn't think they were excellent but they weren't particularly bad either, people were only disappointed because they had such high expectations. Even if the strained dialogue between Anakin and Padmé in episode 2 did make me feel uncomfortable, the presence of Natalie Portman made up for it. The superb sabre fights and likeable characters (the characters are better developed than in the original 3) seem to be overlooked when people criticise because they are expected, it's only when something they expect isn't there that they start to whine, let's face it: They were both good films, they just weren't as good as people wanted them to be, they were certainly better than the original trilogy (which I rewatched to make sure), certainly in terms of special effects and the lack of Mark Hamill with his continual whining and annoying tendency to underuse the force (he reminds me of Thomas Covenant in some ways).
I've been hearing Revenge for months. It was no suprise when they finally revealed the title. I have no problem with Revenge. We all knew something gloomy is going to happen. The final film deserves a dark title.
Hope you aren't referring to me. I have no problem with the title. I was just teasing with my little bit about the awkwardness of the titles. This really is much ado about nothing...
We're all geeks here admit it Darth! But from what I've heard geeks are becoming the new sex object and taking the world by storm. So quit your whining the title sucks! Honestly I could give a rats ass because Attack was so bad I won't see it anyway.
Yes, the first two were pretty bad - too many special effects and not enough story line. I really like Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan. He is the only decent character. Anakin grew up awfully fast, didn't he.
I will go see the last one, but not on the first day.
