There have been plenty of new registered members (and plenty of good names) since this thread was started. Still, I can pick out some favorites. I generally find "proper" names uninterrupted by dashes or other symbols to be the most aesthetically pleasing. In my mind, they "look" and "sound" good. Ack. Hard to explain. Anyway, I've listed my picks in the order in which they registered at the Watch, from Vain (No.2) to The Dreaming (No.917):

So there! (If the Mods of this forum feel this reply constitutes spam, they may gleefully delete it at their leisure.)

When looking through the KW memberlist, one thing I notice (it's hard to miss) is the large number of members with "0" posts: 362 out of 939, or 38 percent! So more than a third of the official membership is keeping silent. Come on, folks, speak up! Do we have to get Darth Revan to PM every single one of you?

Now lets be fair, gentlemen. Though I admit to having created a few different names for myself I have to point out that I have had 2 and only two accounts. One is the aTOMiC, TOM C, Cromas Tummins, Shatterstar, Clear Frontier and the other which was originally named Holden McGroin <grins> has never been used with much frequency. In each case, when the mood suited me, only the account name was altered so therefore only the two accounts exist. I account for only two spots on the memberlist. I think dAN is only credited with creating 3 or 4 accounts himself so as Matrix observed there is a vast silent group that has not availed itself of our stirring conversations. Just an FYI, guys.

However having stated the preceeding I often wonder how many members have aliases. Hmmm...

Well, I really get a kick outa dANdeLion, whom I love to call dande. I love his user name.
And I really like Tom's, and I find it doubly neat because his own name and Thomas Covenant's have the same initials and both could be called Tom or Tom C or Tommy or T C.
I like calling Matrixman by "Neo". makes me smile.
but I notice Matrix, that you posted a looooonnnnnng list of names, which did not include mine.

I've always been a fan of Mouseglove, because it seems like it ought to be meaningless, and yet somehow it isn't.

I am not Joan is a great name, and I've always enjoyed amanibhavam's title, "eat me I am tasty".
