Survivor, The Land

Post by onewyteduck »

I really hate all of these stupid reality series, especially Survivor. I've always felt like if they really want to accomplish something put all these bozos north of the Artic Circle or someplace really rough like "the ghetto".
Then, I might be impressed.

There would be some great locations in The Land! I'm partial to Sarangrave myself. Yuck, snakes! What do some of you think?

I voted for the Sunbane-warped Land. Garrotting Deep is too hardcore - the contestants would be disappeared by a Forestal straight away, and that wouldn't be much fun. Mount Thunder could be interesting, but a little repetetive - all Cavewights and Ur-Viles. The Sarangrave is very mysterious, so there's potential; however, considering how much trouble it caused to a party of Lords, Bloodguard and Ranyhyn, it may be a bit much for some minor celebrities. I thought about suggesting something really awful like Sandgorgon's Doom or the Soulbiter, or maybe something really bewildering like Elemesnedene. But in the end, I settled on the Land under the influence of the Sunbane - rapidly changing conditions, an unlimited resource of wacky creatures, and just about enough chance of not getting bumped off.

I voted the Land under the Sunbane. That would really test people.

Sarangrave wouldn't be much of a challenge to an ordinary person. The lurker was always attracted to sources of power, so with no Bloodguard or Ranyhyn or periapts, a normal human would be able to walk right through.

I vote than Land under the Sunbane.

That's true, I forgot that. Perhaps living among the Haruchai would be a suitable challenge?

On an off note, I have always thought they should put Survivor in the UP of Michigan or northern Wisconsin or Minnesota in January. That might prove something :) (but there would be no half naked people, so ratings would probably drop. )

I voted for the Sunbane Land. You would face a completely different challenge every three days or so... 8)

Hey, sounds good to me. To heck with them all! Let the Forestal practice on them to relieve the boredom of waiting for the next Raver to show up.

The land under the sunbane would be so harsh as to completely eliminate competition. Every spare bit of energy would be used to survive.

The sarangrave would present a challenge, but not one that represented a threat to the lives of the contestants constantly.
