Which hobbit is the hottest?

Post by The Leper Fairy »

I can't believe this topic hasn't been created yet! I know deep down that all us women here have a thing for short hairy-footed men...
:swoon:

So which one is it? I always thought Merry was the best followed closely by Pippin. I don't know how a date with them would go though... 5'11" me next to one of them! hahaha

Of course it can only be Sam. Who else?
The reality is in this head. Mine. I'm the projector at the planetarium, all the closed little universe visible in the circle of that stage is coming out of my mouth, eyes, and sometimes other orifices also.

For sheer hotness, I'm a Pippin girl, me. I think it's all about Billy Boyd's pointy nose. So I voted for him.

If it was about which hobbit I'd marry--I imagine each Hobbit has their uses. Frodo is for when you're feeling gloomy and just want to sit around listening to The Cure. Merry is like your first long-term boyfriend--the one you stay up too late drinking with and think you're going to marry, but your parents know that while it's a good relationship for you, you have a lot of growing up to do still. Sam is the guy you (hopefully) actually do marry--sweet, kind, likes a good beer now and then, big blue eyes. Pippin is all the guys you date in between, lots of fun, good-looking, and likable, if not very bright.

Pardon me, but this strikes me as a really strange question to be asking. I mean, there really isn't any physical description of the Hobbits in LOTR as such; except that Gandalf described Frodo as 'taller than some and fairer than most, and he has a cleft in his chin: perky chap with a bright eye'. (He also called him a 'stout little fellow with red cheeks', which certainly doesn't fit Elijah Wood.)

So all you really have to work with is the movie. I can understand people talking about which actor is 'hottest', Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, Billy Boyd, or a CG monster voiced by Andy Serkis. But that's not the same thing at all, at all. Tolkien would have been downright nonplussed at the idea of people having the hots for a Hobbit.

Yes, this was appallingly badly written for an essay question.

Wait- What if it isn't an essay question, and is in fact.... :o ....light-hearted? :o

:D Couldn't stop laughing after reading this!! The visual is almost disturbing. A melancholy hobbit dressed in black, sealed up in his dark hole, surrounded by burning candles. Posters of Robert Smith, Depeche Mode, and siouxsie sioux cover his walls. He is of course writing bad poetry. Ahh, the good ol days.

Rosie!

I'd vote for Rosie, though the logisitics of Human/Hobbit "Interaction" might make things a bit.....ahem....complicated.
Oh wad some power the giftie gie us
To see oursel's as others see us!
It wad frae monie a blunder free us,
And foolish notion.
