Linden&Thomas Vs Terisa&Geraden

Post by Revan »

Who is the greater couple?! :D Who do you like the most? Shares the deeper bond of love? :hearts:

Several ways to compare:

-Who they suited each other more?
-Who shared a greater desire for each other?
-Who need each more?
-And of course, who is the hotter couple? ;)

I certain you'll be able to think of more ways. 8)

I'm guessing Covenant and Linden needed each other more. I think Geraden and Terisa could be just fine apart although I suppose Geraden would have the hardest time of it. :D

I picked both. I agree that Linden & TC need each other more -- but Geraden's just such a big ol' lovable puppy, and he's so good at getting Terisa to loosen up a little, and...

In terms of pure physical attractiveness, Terisa & Geraden win the contest. I would guess they have the kind of photogenic look that fashion magazine editors would drool over.

Linden & Thomas need each other more. That is plain to me. And I think they suit each other in a more profound way than Terisa & Geraden.

Desire? Is this the same as need? Or are we talking about sex?

Instead of saying which couple I like "best," I prefer to say I can relate to Linden and Thomas better. I love Terisa, but I'll take Covenant's bitterness over Geraden's earnestness.

8O Ditto what Tom and Matrixman said, but then the between the lines stuff, the deeply in your gut stuff between Covenant and Linden is the clincher for me.

I would definitely agree that Thomas & Linden 'need each other' more. Which is why I voted for Terisa & Geraden.

To me, 'need' for a person/partner smacks of co-dependancy; T & G are together because they choose to be, not to fulfill some psychological need.

I don't think that 'neediness' is a very good foundation for a relationship.

Good point. 8) Though some would object.

Geraden And Terisa were by far the hotter couple

I think That Thomas and Linden had a stronger foundation of love though. :hearts:

I had to go for T&G, because, as danlo implies in his spoiler, they have the greatest chance at long-term happiness. L&C, even if they do manage to overcome that which separates them
Spoiler
i.e., the fact that C's DEAD
, have way too much baggage to ever just be happy or contented. Not that fraught relationships aren't any less meaningful or important, just that they're usually exhausting, and that sort of drama doesn't appeal to me on a personal level. Just my :2c:

I also went with Terisa and Geraden, as they are the ones with a greater chance to have a normal life together, with marriage and children...and they also seem to have a lot more physical passion for each other.

Wouldn't those actually be White Gold Wielder spoilers? :) Neither Danlo nor Myste have read Runes. :) (neither have I, for that matter.)

Sorry Edge! But duchess is right, it's a WGW spoiler, not Runes. I don't even look at topics with "Runes" in the title 'cause I don't want to get spoiled either. Forgive?:)

How about Terisa and Eremis.

>Call to the Hood/Ghetto,to get Homie from the hood's opinion<
Ring, Ring, Ring......The phone is picked up and the Homie from the hood replies, "Give props to the playa G, Homeboy should have tagged that, don't be hatin, word yo."

I'm not responsible for that comment, it was from home boy from the hood.
"What is your name?"
"That is another long story," the Giant returned and repeated, "What is your need?"
But Atiaran insisted dully, "Your name."
Again a gleam sprang from under the Giant's massive brows. "There is power in names."

Both couples have my vote. Each of them needed the other to truly becaome the people they were meant to be.
I think Linden and Covenant were so tragic a couple that empathy runs more deeply for them. They suffered as no human should ever have to and yet still remained true to each other.
Terisa and Geraden were two lost people whose strength came from belief and loving the other.
