I was looking forward to his Book Tour on Runes in the U.S.A
It literally blows my mind that Stephen R Donaldson is not returning to his home turf of Cleveland Ohio. Where I live near of course. I would think he would do a tour in the Kent State College or Wooster area at the very least! Whats the deal on that?
Does anyone know why he is not visiting this part of Ohio where he was born and attended college? I am very sadly dissapointed.

I also was very disappointed in the "1/3 US Tour" but it's author priviledge. What more can be said?

I am still hoping that more tour dates will eventually be added. Thus far he has nothing east of Denver.

Unless he decides to set aside dates after the UK trip, I don't believe there will be other tour dates added.

If he's flying to/from England from one of the big hub airports like New York, Boston, Chicago, or Detroit, it would be quite easy for him to add a few dates in that region of the country...

Yeah but, your HOME town. Born and raised. Thats insane. College degree, lifetime of experiences, etc. etc. A speaking at Kent State where I attend. College, Our English Professor thought for sure he would poke in there. This issue was talked about in class even. No book tour or stop there, of all places you would count on atleast a fly-by. Nothing in New Jersey where he lived and published the First.???? Conspiracy I tell ya.

Really? Sorry, but I find that hard to believe. Why would a publisher purposefully send an author only to the western third of the US, and avoid the other 2/3 of the country? No Chicago, Atlanta, New York City? No Washington DC?

No, I think the tour is only covering the western US because that's what SRD wanted. And that's absolutely fine, really it is. It's his priviledge, as I said before.

He was born in Cleveland, but he was raised in India. Anyway-geez he can't be everywhere and still write the 2nd book. He may tour the eastern U. S. after that, who knows. Sorry I'm spoiled and can see him for the 3rd time in 1/2 a year on Oct 16th. We've waited what, 25 years or so for Runes? Wait a little while longer-I'm sure he'll, eventually be out your way.

Just a note for us few Canadian Watchers...the word "on the street" is that Runes is set to hit Canadian bookstores on Nov. 1st.
