:( Darth, how can you be so mean? Poor Jar Jar. The poor Ewoks. I love them. The Ewoks are so cute and so funny. Jar Jar was a bit annoying in the Clone Wars, but he was pretty funny in The Phantom Menace. Have a sense of bloody humour.
I have a great sense of humour, why do you think I laughed at these idiots so hard? :P ;)

When you're older... you'll understand why so many people are angry at the input of Jar Jar Binks and the Ewoks.

When I am older, I hope I can still appreciate the comic element of films, and not look down my nose at them. :P

:D :D :D

Ok... :P

But still... I promise you, if when you're older you retain any sanity, you'll hate them both ;) :P

I will not, because I love them, the movies would not be the same without them. End of discussion. :P

Congrats. I still hate them... Jar Jar... there really aren't enough words to describe the lameness and sadness of this loser...

Haruchai, I don't know how you found Jar Jar Binks humorous, because very rarely could the movie-goer even understand a word he was saying.

Had I not read the novelization by Terry Brooks before seeing the film, I would not have comprehended a stinking word out of Jar Jar's mouth.

I would rank the Ewoks higher than Jar Jar, but still nothing but a transparent marketing ploy aimed at the younger audience, and for the most part, a detriment to the movie.

I am of the younger audience. 8) That is probably why I liked them. Jar Jar said some of the funniest stuff. Mayhaps it is only funny if you are of the "younger audience."

i don't see how even the young audience liked Jar Jar. When I saw the movie, every time he said something I felt like someone had cut off the top of my sull and was rubbing my brain with jagged chunck of concrete. I had a headach for three days.
My right hand is lightning and my left is thunder.
My eyes are flame.
My heart is ashes.
Look upon me and tremble.

I just voted, making it 8 For Trek, 8 For wars, and 8 Equal. Wow. :)

Star Trek TOS - I grew up with it. I was a teenager before SW came out. Still it would have been a tie if not for how the PT has undermined the OT.
