F&F --
1.) Yeah sorry about that .. i should perhaps have been more clear .. the ISBN# is grinding its way into the book system, it SHOULD be there by the end of this month, latest.

2.) I should make sure you're clear that it's in stock in the Borders in Santa Monica ONLY ... the one on the 3rd st. promenade .. I've been running around securing shelf space one store at a time. Dunno if you live in LA or not, but that's the only place (other than NH) where it it's on shelves.

Workin' on getting that situation betterized and all, but not there quite yet ... and thanks for looking for it, nonetheless.

By the way, I heard that Tom C. wrote a book and it's out ... anyone know the deal with that? Title, etc.?

Mark, your book is great. I love the story and the characters are delightful. Im half way through it and don't want it to end.
I am "casting" my characters as I am wont to do, and wish for it to be made into a movie one day.
It is sort of Harry Potterish, Alice In Wonderlandish, Never Ending Storyish, and I'll think of more as I go along.
I love the brands of things in this place, and Petunia made me smile as she tripped the man in the store.
Max is a very courageous boy, even though he thinks of himself as less, and .......ok, I won't tell too much.
I wish everyone would read it and see what a great beginning to a new series written by our own Mark J is right under their noses.
Best of luck, Mark, and I know you are on the first leg of a long journey. Get to gettin', because some of us are already thinking about the next one.

Well, since I ordered Tom's Folly's Challenge this morning, I also went ahead and ordered this book as well from Amazon. :) I've been meaning to for months and Tom inspired me. :)

Been a bit o' time since I checked in on the Watch, so 'plogies for taking this long to notice ... but wanted to thank you duchess for ordering my book!! :)

Also, I have been podcasting (this is just basically mp3 files, they'll play on anything that plays mp3's) the ENTIRE audiobook version of THE POCKET AND THE PENDANT for FREE over the last two months at the behest of SF/Fantasy site DragonPage.com ... I'm up to chapter 11 so far. It's one of the most popular podcasts on the entire web right now, it's been a huge success ... so, if you'd rather have me read you a little bit each night before bedtime :) here's where you go to get the mp3's in order (or subscribe to the podcast if you know how to do that):

I've only just started getting podcasts and one of the first things I downloaded was Scott Sigler's EarthCore. I'm really enjoying it so far (torture scenes are especially gripping in this format I think) and whilst reading an interview with Scott he plugged the Pocket and the Pendulum as a podcast. I'll start on it once I'm finished with EarthCore.
