Hey Kids!.....Its been a while over a year and a half since i last posted anything....so this is my first post on the new board......ive missed you guys.....anyway.....
This is hard tp phrase but ill give it a try....
What music do you think would go along best with certain scenes in the The Books...for example..
At the end of WGW...when [covenant dies] i think the perfect song for that would be....Washing of the Water by Peter Gabriel but it has to be the live version....the studio one dosent have the same feel....but yeah..i would highly recommend downloading that song....the first time i heard it i cried....i think its very appropriate lyrically and musically as well....so id like to hear what you guys think about that song...as well as any ideas you may have for that scene and any others.......
Thanks again guys......later.....[/spoiler]

I've always thought that a few of Zeppelins tracks lended themselves to fantasy books. Of course they are inextricably linked to Tolkien
e.g Ramble On:
Still I'd love to hear a really dark acoustic version of Zeppelin's Gallows Pole for the scene with Caerroil Wildwood, the Raver and Gallows Howe.
e.g Ramble On:
Battle of Evermore is more of a LOTR track tooI ain't tellin' no lie.
Mine's a tale that can't be told,
My freedom I hold dear;
How years ago in days of old
When magic filled the air,
T'was in the darkest depths of Mordor
I met a girl so fair,
But Gollum, and the evil one crept up
And slipped away with her.
Her, her....yea.
Ain't nothing I can do, no.
Still I'd love to hear a really dark acoustic version of Zeppelin's Gallows Pole for the scene with Caerroil Wildwood, the Raver and Gallows Howe.
