What Would You Take??

You have a small, portable CD player, a warehouse club sized package of batteries, and a chance to grab 3 cd's out of your collection as you are being summoned to the Land.
Which three would you grab??

Two of mine would be Beethoven's Ninth and probably One by the Beatles. Not sure of the third.

I`m gonna get canned for this but * shrugs* who cares.

1. The Very Best Of Cat Stevens - I`m a hippy at heart and I would love to singMorning Has Broken while sitting under a tree in Andelain

2. Toss up between "Romanza" by Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban`s self-titled CD. Both have beautiful voices and songs. Probably Romanza.

3. I`ll get slain for this one - Abba Gold *gasp*. I can listen to Abba all day - its very boppy

But I`d really miss my Chris Isaak CDs, Savage Garden, Meatloaf`s Bat Out Of Hell, Very Best Of The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac CDs and Oasis` "What`s The Story Morning Glory?" ( They were ***holes but I loved the tracks on that CD)

........and now I shall retreat to the safety of my Mainstream Poppy Hidey Hole

Wouldn't it just be easier for me to grab my whole CD book than take 3 out of it? *sigh*

First, I'd have to run to my car, my computer desk and my garage to find all of my cds. It would also depend on when they were asking If I had to choose now though:

1. Beethoven's Ninth

2. ELO's Greatest Hits

3. The Very Best of Jim Croce

Next week it might be something different.

-Beethoven's string quartets on Naxos, the volume with Op 132. (duchess says I can't count the complete quartets as one selection!:()

-Lyle Lovett: Joshua Judges Ruth

Ahh F&F, some of his songs are the coolest..The First Cut Is The
Deepest, Oh Very Young, Moon Shadow, Hard Deaded Woman, Lady D'Arbanville....I love them all.

Sunday morning ritual is to sit out in the garden with breakfast and Cat Stevens. Coolest way to start the day.

Well, I hope it's a solar powered CD player otherwise we wont get to hear these albums much. I'd take The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses, Massive Attack's Blue Lines and The Holy Bible by Manic Street Preachers.

I already feel bad for leaving behind Pearl Jam's Ten, but I felt that those three would cover most moods I'd be likely to experience.
