Greetings, all! My name is James (as I'm sure you've guessed). I just now ran across this forum, hope to be spending some time here.

I've been a fan of SRD since I first read the Covenant series oh, I don't know, about 10 years ago. My brother-in-law got me turned on to the series, and I've been addicted since! The only other SRD series I've read is of course the Gap series, which I loved as well. Picked up The Mirror Of Her Dreams the other week because I've heard great things about the books.

So here is my n00b post, such as it is. Hope to see you all around.

I wonder what would have been different if I'd had people to talk to about this series back when I was 14 after I read it. Maybe a lot!
Oh well... welcome and weal, all

Halfway down the stairs Is the stair where I sit. There isn't any other stair quite like it. I'm not at the bottom, I'm not at the top; So this is the stair where I always stop.

Thanks for the warm reception, everyone. I'm hoping to participate as much as possible, but I see a lot of really in-depth discussions about the TC books. It's been so long since I've read them all that when I read the introduction to Runes outlining the previous books, I felt like I'd never read them at all! So after I finish Runes, I'll be going back to re-read the series. I wanted to re-read them before I picked up Runes, but I just couldn't wait!

See y'all around!

Okay, so... Hi everyone. I'm new and such.. Surprise, eh? :P

Eh. I'm Jezz, and.. such. I've only read the Chronicles twice (gasp!), the first time when I was 10-something and the second this spring, but I love it muchly, so I have to be here. Oh, and I finished This Day All Gods Die yesterday, and EEEEEEEEEEEEP. I almost couldn't sleep. Too good. And my roomie and fellow SRD fanatic bought Runes today, so ooooh. She must finish reading it soon, so I can read it. *blinks*

And yah.. I'll run around checking out forums now.. :)

Hello everyone!

My name is Jim, and, well, here I am.

This is a great thing you have going on here - well done to all.

I wish I'd known about ElohimFest earlier (like, *before* it happened). Is there another planned for next year?

Oh, about me... like *so* many of you, discovered LFB in my early teens, was a Donaldson nut from the get-go, and I've read everything he's done, with the exception of the mystery novels (should get to that...).

So, that's me!

Jim
