Aren't they, whoever they are, raising money to rebuild the sucker?
Some kind of "mesh foam thing" (my quotes) stronger then granite and longer lasting?
Or has that gone by the way side?

When I first heard it I thought it was stupid but after driving by the viewing area a few times and seeing it still on the quarter it's kinda depressing that it's gone.
