American Idol

Hang me if you want but I watch it religiously ;)

I think Kimberley is starting to sound heaps better. Ruben is getting worse. Clay is a bit dorky.

I must admit that I am at work when it's on, and I've never seen it. All of my friends who are able to watch it are all rooting for some marine to win -- which one is he?
The girl who won it the last time is on the front of seemingly every magazine in the grocery store racks this month. 8O 8O

I won't hang you, Vain. I'll just shake my head in disgust and quietly walk away.

Y'know, the show wouldn't bother me that much if it wasn't on every freakin' night. People want to watch it, fine, but put it in one timeslot a week for cryin' out loud.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I watched it for the first time for about 1/2 hour a couple of weeks ago. I wish there was a holding your nose emoticon!

Any jackass can kick down a barn, but it takes a good carpenter to build one.
