Any updated release dates for remaining books in Last Chron?

Post by Ossie »

From what I could gather they were set to be released "one after the other". Any ideas if this means all within the next few months, one a year etc etc?

Thanx

Yeah, sorry to say, but from what I heard, it seems to be what duchess said. I'm thinking 2-3 years about for each book, probably pushing 3. So this whole thing won't be finished for another decade...heh. Wow. I'll be old...heh. I wonder if I'll have a girlfriend by then...bah, who am I kidding. Heh.-jay

Hey, maybe we'll have doctorates by then!

Heh, in another ten years I will be fiftyish, and getting ready for my early retirement from Government service.

The thought of early retirement makes me very happy, in case you hadn't noticed.

Hahaha, yeah. Hm, 10 years from now, considering where we are in our education...yeah, that sounds about right, heh. 10 years. Maybe. Heh.

At least we have comfort in knowing that we'll have doctorates before Robert Jordan finishes the Wheel of Time.-jay

From SRD's GI:
Erik: Two quick questions: 1) I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase a signed "Runes of the Earth" (though I haven't been able to read it yet). This was a pleasant surprise since the scheduled book tour seems to be avoiding the east coast. How many copies of the book did you sign?
2) Clarification on when to expect book 2, in October 2006 or October 2007?

1) As I've said elsewhere, I signed nearly 7500 copies of "Runes" which were apparently intended for distribution in parts of the US where I did not tour. 2) Expect "Fatal Revenant" late in 2007, hope to see it late in 2006.

I know that patience builds character. By the time FR comes out, I will have character oozing out of my pores...thank God for cologne.

Character oozing out of your pores . . . I just had a silly image of a human face covered with streaks of sweat in the shape of Chinese writing.

3 years a book?

I'm gonna die :(
Beware, beware!
His flashing eyes, his floating hair!
Weave a circle 'round him thrice
And close your eyes with holy dread
For he on honeydew hath fed
And drunk the milk of Paradise!
