26th annual ROC*KON, guess who's author guest of honour?!?! You got it, it's SRD! In LR, ...it's so perfect! I got graduation and senor brekfast thursday, a friend from LR is coming to my grad, I'm riding w/her back to Little Rock...friday, saturday and sunday I'm going to ROC*KON! OMG! I can't believe this...I'll make someone bring digi camera, y'all can have pics...

Actually, given the chance to meet you, Sky, or SRD personally, I'd choose you anyday. As brilliant as SRD is, he's not a buddy like you are. I feel that I'd have a greater chance of seeing SRD than seeing you here locally, so I'll settle for SRD, but who knows what the future brings? :D

I didn't make it to that much of the con, actually...we had tornadoes the first night, because ARKANSAS SUCKS BOOTY. Saturday I was kinda disabled and Sunday I did go, and I saw SRD and it was cool. There was a panel on writing and he gave me lots of really interesting tips, and told me to take writing assignments from my friends so now I have to write a short story about a friend of ours that thinks he's a samurai...anyway, yeah it was great, but he fled like a startled deer after the panel and no one got to talk to him then...this one guy in room talked most of the time about his depression and inability to write filk songs...and I'm sorry, but a public thing like that is no place to air your mental illnesses, and another author on the panel came up to me later and thanked me for changing the subject a couple of times, as no one else seemed inclined to...SRD has such presence....wow....I can't believe....I actually met him! I didn't get any pics though, because it seemed impolite...I would have given more info to Bannor and y'all but I was already away from the computer and I don't get much access anymore...whoo....
