Expectations for the rest of the 3rd Chronicles

Post by The Dreaming »

All I am saying is...

There had damn well better be giants. Ranyhin are nice, but Donaldson knows what we want.

Now that Donaldson has carefully set the stage with Runes, I think we'll be in for the adventure of our lives. :D 8)

NO! Not Giants. Or at least, not just because we here at the Watch want them. If SRD started adding things in for that reason, the Last Chronicles would suffer I believe.

And yes duchess, after that set up. Over the next three books we can look forward to the following:

+Where is Joan? What is happening to her? What is her direct relationship with Foul and the Land?
+Where is Roger? What is he doing? Does he have any special powers like Linden and Covenant do?
+Where was Jeremiah? How did he get to Revelstone? Why did he pick up the red car? Why is he reacting now? Does he have any powers? Did Foul want him to get at Linden, or for another reason?
+Who is the Mahdoubt? Why do the Ramen recognize her, or seem to?
+What caused Kevin's Dirt?
+How did Kastenessen escape? What are the skurj? Why are the Elohim warning the Land?

The list just goes on and on and on. 8O

You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

I'm interested in seeing more of the convergence of Covenant and Foul. At the end of WGW, Covenant said to Foul:
"You should see yourself. You're even starting to look like me."
Slowly the two are coming together, and I'd expect the similarities to extend further now, since Covenant is fully of the Land's reality and not of the real world.

words cannot decribe how anxious we all are for the remainder of the story. The only problem is that the sales are prettyh sh---y. lets all go out and buy three or four copies of the book, so that the publisher keeps the deal in place!

another thing, lets stop writting SRD questions in the GI....i mean I have two or three I'm waiting for, but I want him to friggin' well write fatal revenment.-you know; I don't know what i'd do if he decided NOT to write the rest of the staorhy.....

I should not be writting any replies tonight..Christ (on a crutch) I'm really drunk.

He says several times in the GI that he wouldn't allow the GI to get in the way of writing Fatal Revenant, so I don't think you have to worry about that.
Anyone perfect must be lying, anything easy has its cost, anyone plain can be lovely, anyone loved can be lost.
