Who looks the part?

Post by dANdeLION »

Okay, I have had some ideas running about in my head for a while. Basically it's famous people who I think look exactly like comic book characters. Now it so happens that I have only come up with singers who look like characters who are bad guys in the Amazing Spiderman, but it certainly doesn't have to be limited to this. Notice that I'm not basing my opinions on any sort of acting ability whatsoever.

Here's mine:

Roy Orbison as Dr. Octopus. Now that he's dead (Roy, not Doc Ock), Elton John will have to play the part.

Michael Jackson as Morbius.

Freddy Mercury as Kraven.

You surprise me, Clearfrontier. I expected you to say "Patrick Stewart as Professor X".

Dang it! You are right. Ugh!

You mean like, James Earl Jones as Thulsa Doom?

Wasn't a fan of Spaceballs but I get it. The endless spaceship at the begining of the film was the only thing that found amusing.

Ahh, here's this thread. A couple of years ago, Gen-13 may have been a viable comic movie option, but now, I doubt it. Still, Jack Black would have made an excellent Grunge.

I beg forgiveness. I'm kind of funny that way. I loved Police Squad but I thought Police Academy was stupid. (actually anything by the Zuckers is great) Spinal Tap was great but Best In Show and A Mighty Wind left me with only a mild smile. I understood what Spaceballs was trying to do but it didn't hook me the way it did for so many others. I just remember wondering why SpaceBalls was released so long after the last Star Wars. It didn't seem to make much sense. I'm confused easily. :D

I'm not trying to get Tom's back but I couldn't stand a thing about Spaceballs--and believe me I tried--Young Frankenstien, Blazing Saddles and The Producers are some of my fav films... :?

I was about to wholeheartedly agree, but when I came to think about it I couldn't think of that many really funny moments. The huge ship, Mr Coffee, combing the desert and merchandising were all that sprang to mind (feel free to suggest more).

They never did meet up in Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money, though.

I'm thinking there's someone who looks like the Shade that was in Starman. Skinny guy, but I can't remember who it is.

And I really only posted this because I happen to have the last post on the 5 forums below this one, so... :D

Johney Depp as Morpheus, The Sandman
Helena Bonham Carter as Death
Kenneth Brannah as Lucifer

Clint Eastwood as the Comedian from The Watchmen

Jake Guilinhall as Gereden - He perfectly conforms to my mental image of him, he is also a damn good actor. By the way, Homer Hickim (writer of October Sky) spoke at my school a few months ago, and the first thing he did was apologize for not looking like Jake Guilinhall. I thought it was a pretty good joke.
