Whom are you most like in terms of power.
Thomas - who is scared out of his wits by it
Linden - who wants it really badly
The Kemper - who wants to live forever
Lord Foul - who wants to destroy the entire cosmos, and to be superior than the creator
Mhoram - who uses (not wants) power to heal and serve the beauty of the Land, and not to use any power that precludes peace
Hile Troy - Who wants to pay back the Land for enabling him to experience the gift of sight

None of them. I want power because it is a useful tool, not because I have something I really want to do with it. Maybe you could say that I am more like Linden or the Kemper than the others but even that is stretching it a bit.

Wanting power only shows that you don't have it, if you have it you don't know that you need it & if you want it, no matter what happens, you probably will never have what you think you need - ????????? geddit?

what's power for? what do you mean by power?

To me , the real power is being content

My first choice would be Troy (aka Caer Caveral). I would want power (no problems admitting I have very little) to help those that I care about. Barring that, I hope I could be as wise and humble yet masterful as Mhoram. The most honest choice for myself, though, would probably be Kevin (aim for being like Mhoram, but end up being like Drool)
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

What about Lena's power, the ability to forgive. is that not a form of power?

Unless you mean exclusively Earthpower? Then i would have to say Saltheart Foamfollower. The power to craft the world around you without destroying it.

Well, I voted for Linden - sure she really lusted after the power but just look at what she did with it - nothing but good (we can once again have the discussion about what she did to Pitchwife - was it good or would it change him too much?)Incidentally who do we think is the White Gold Wielder? In that book TC LA and Foul all have a good bit of throwing white gold power about.
There is also Love in the World.
