picked some books up at the library. what do you think of these books (and the authors in general!!)?

Sean McMullen - Voyage of the Shadowmoon

Ken MacLeod - Cosmonaut Keep

David Zindell - Neverness

Neverness is OUTSTANDING! 8) That book and the book that follows, The Broken God have got to be the two best sci-fis I've ever read!!!

Sorry ... although I recognize the authors name, I can't say I'm familiar with any of their work.

(I might check out some Zindell though, thanks to Danlo's recommendation!)

Zindell is a fantastic writer. :) Neverness is the first of a four book series, though, just to warn you. :)

Argh ... not another series. I long for the days where authors could tell a story in one book.

Ah well ... why stop now? I've got tons of series' on the go, what's one more? Danlo, could you list the names of the books in the Neverness series? Thanks!
