I just stumbled upon this thread. This is a cool idea! (The anthology idea, not the one involving the boss's daughter....)

Hmm, haven't written any fiction in awhile, but let me think about it....

It's been months since I posted my work. No one could even comment. It's like a KW record or something, how much no comment I got. I'm gonna have a heart attack and die from so much no comment.

Anyway, I'll be danged if I write more ...

I know that feeling. I tend not to go to the Hall much, because there's too much to read. Link me and I'll take a look.

If anyone wishes to submit an original piece of theirs from the Hall of Gifts for the purpose of the Anthology, that's cool with me. 8)

Would you guys like to use "The Creed"? It's quite long, over 16,000 words. I've also done more revising on it, so the one in the Hall is out of date.

Let me know, and I'll submit the revised version. :)
And I believe in you

I will remember you

Furls, I conversed with Hier and he and I agree that the Creed would be a great addition to the Anthology. 16k isn't so long that it will be any kind of serious problem. Please feel free to submit the story. :-)

Sorry for the delay in mine reaching you people, but I have been extremely busy with applying for an ambulance job. It will be another week before my entry is ready.

Good idea to keep the commitees up to date, LM. FYI mine is coming along pretty well but I'm only 2300 words in to the story. I predict it will take most of the 10k suggested limit and therefore probably wont be complete until after Christmas. :-)

OH COOL!!! I probably won't get it to you until after the holidays. I'll want to go over it again with a microscope and make sure it's all okay. Also, right now it's in manuscript format, with all the editing marks and such in it for submission to magazines. Would you guys like it kept that way, or should I take those out? :)

In my time off for Christmas I'm considering rewriting and extending Faith, my (very) short story from a while back... I may consider submission, if you think it's worth it?

It would be best if they were taken out. :)

I really like that story. I look forward to reading the new version!

I don't think it matters what format it's in...er, does it? Having it in manuscript form might benefit the editing team, I suppose.

Yes, sir, submit at will. :) That's what we're here for. We'll look at any writing, except maybe your grocery list. Now, if that were in poetry form...

(Just kidding.) 8O
