As SRD said in the gradual interview "A great many things have become possible" within the framework of the Last Chronicles. The Dead can come back to life (and not just in the spectral way they did in TWL), the law of time is getting bent making a kind of time travel possible, etc. If this is going to be something that ties the entire chronicles and the history of the land together, who would you like to see come back and why?

Keeping in mind that it would probably be too easy of a "Deus Ex Machina" to get Berek to show up and say "oh, here's some great lore that worked swell for us back in the day", I've got two questions:

1> Who from the past would be most able to help The Land these days?

2> Who would you most like to see show up?

Sure, everyone wants to see folks like Bannor and Saltheart Foamfollower (who doesn't miss his loveable songsmith self?) But I'd like to see a lot more of Kevin and get his insights. Just from the quick glance we get from TIW, he was already tormented enough before Elena summoned him; holding the record for "first of the dead to cross over when law of death was broken" has got to be torment.

Plus, I've always had this sneaking suspicion that there's some link between Berek and "the real world". I know what SRD said about Kevin in the Gradual Interview, I'm just saying...

I've seen enough of Kevin, and Berek himself doesn't interest me. I would like to see Loric (particularly using the krill) and Damelon, though.
