I've heard rumors, but it looks like now it's official :)

She said that she wanted it done before her baby was due. She's been working on it night and day. I have some extremely happy children right now :D :D
And I believe in you
altho you never asked me too
I will remember you
and what life put you thru.

Sixth Harry Potter book to hit stand on July 16 next year

London, Dec. 21 (PTI): The sixth Harry Potter novel will hit the stands on July 16 next year, its author J K Rowling, announced today. 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' will be published simultaneously in the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

Rowling told newsmen she had completed the novel after originally saying she would announce details on Christmas Day. It has been a long wait for Rowling's young fans since the fifth book, 'The Order Of The Phoenix,' came out in June 2003.

Originally she planned to publish one book a year, to correspond with the seven years that her fictional hero spends at the magical academy of Hogwarts, but that time-table has been derailed by her growing family.

Rowling was pregnant with her second child, David, when she started writing 'Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince' early last year, and is now expecting her third baby. Rowling has revealed that one of her characters will be killed off in the new book - but gave no hints as to their identity. Writing on her website, Rowling assured fans the half-blood prince of the title is neither Harry, the hero, nor Lord Voldemort, the villain of the uniquely successful series.

She said the opening chapter of the book has been brewing in her mind for 13 years. She said she had plenty of time while pregnant "to tinker with the manuscript to my satisfaction and I am as happy as I have ever been with the end result."

The series has been a publishing phenomenon, with five million copies of the last book sold in the first 24 hours of publication.

Halfway down the stairs Is the stair where I sit. There isn't any other stair quite like it. I'm not at the bottom, I'm not at the top; So this is the stair where I always stop.

We're already making plans for the midnight bookstore party!!! :D :D
For Myles--
When evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love

For Mom--
Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
for you are the wind beneath my wings.

Fly...fly high against the sky...
Thank you, thank you, thank God for you
The wind beneath my wings

I went ahead and ordered two copies, one for each of the kids. :) At 40% off, why not?

I'll get to read the copy of whichever kid is done with it first. :)

But at 40% off! And they bring it right to your door!

Actually, if I had a bit less money, I would have had to hold out for the paperback, like last time. Boy, that was painful. Thankfully a good friend let me borrow her hardback before I went crazy with the suspense.

Alynna, you don't have a library card? Or where they all out of HP books last time (mine was)? I will not be able to read the book right away since I start school the 10th, but I will have it done before August. :)
