Anyone remember this?

When I was a kid I watched a show called Space Giants.The best I can remember there was a family of robots Goldar,Silvar and Gam,I think they lived in a mountain or volcano.I dont rember the main villains name,but I rember charactars called Lugo Men?who would melt into what looked like a puddle of diaharea when they were shot by lasers.Did I dream this?No one else seems to remember it-also I think it was Japanese dubbed into English.Oh yea I think that the robots could turn into rockets.

Sounds a little like Johnny Sokko and his Amazing Flying Robot to me. I thought I dreamed THAT one up until I actually ran into a guy I work with that knew what I was talking about. The giant robot lived in a volcano in that on, too, and it was Japanese. Maybe one was a spinoff or something.
