Why is it that if you are going to fall down and hurt yourself badly enough to make walking painful, it always happens during time off work, when you want to go running around--not during work times so you can stay home and recooperate and grin about missing work?

Why is it that actors and actresses are applauded (and paid!) for 'the difficulty' of putting on extra weight for some roles? DO they think it's really that hard to do?
