The party starts here in 3 hours....Must....deny...temptation...to...drink....early. Must....remain....upright....and....understandable.

If everyone shows up at the party drunk, you're going to be way behind, Cail. Start now! I'd join you, but I'm still stuck at work. :(

You are lucky. Office Christmas parties are almost universally terrifying--if you're not careful, you'll end up spilling your guts to your worst enemy and giving them all sorts of power over you. 8O I managed to avoid that this year by making sure she was drunker than I was.

The good thing was, our party was in a ballroom at the Ritz. Talk about swank. I felt like a guppy in the neon tetra tank. :D

At Xmas my family got drunk and stoned (slightly anyways) and we all sang Karaoke. :S

And at our work Xmas party the $11,000 bar tab went in four hours. 8O

One year we went to a techno-dance club with another couple after the bank's christmas party and danced for an hour and a half before we figured out that the music never stops. Christ we were exhausted, but, at least they served half gallon martinis. 8)

I love tiramisu too.

I had a bit of rum in my homemade eggnog last night. :)

That's still a heckuva martini! There's a place nearby that serves 23 oz. Bloody Marys during their Saturday/Sunday brunch. There's nothing better than eggs, bacon, and a monster bloody mary at 1pm on a Sunday. :D
