Runes Slipcase Limited Edition Now Available

Post by Seareach »

Just incase anyone is interested: The UK limited edition of Runes is now available. It's the one that SRD mentioned in his "news" section of the official webside
Gollancz is preparing a limited (1000 copies), signed collector's edition of "The Runes of the Earth." It will have a slipcase, and may perhaps boast other special features which haven't been mentioned to me. But it will only be available through Waterstones (a UK bookseller chain, for you non-UK readers). The book should be available in mid-November. I don't know what the price will be
I have no idea how much it is supposed to cost, but I have just picked one up off eBay. BOY AM I HAPPY :D As far as I can tell, it has no "special features" other than the slip case and a very nice looking page with SRD's signature and the limited edition number.

For those who are searching on eBay, my suggestion would be to type in a search for "Runes of the Earth" and not "Stephen Donaldson" as I think most people do a "Stephen Donaldson" keyword search, so you'll get a better price if you go for the ones that don't reference him in the product title...well, that's my personal opinion...it worked for me!

Another interesting thing: it appears that Amazon-UK has already got the Runes paperback available - which is impossible, since SRD is still doing his revisions...

I got number 392.

Anyone want to add their edition number? See if we can get from #1 to #1,000?

I saw one in Waterstone's last week, and was tempted, but I just don't like owning two copies of the same book (especially if they've also got identical covers).
