A bone you've broken and how
1. Left wrist - fell out of a tree.
2. A turkey's wishbone at Thanksgiving....never broke any of my own bones. (Had a LOT of stitches though)
3. Chin - toddling up concrete steps a little too fast (I was 3yo).
4. Younger brother's wrist....he was getting in my face.
5. My left kneecap....dancing like an idiot around my friend's living room
6. Right forearm...Falling off the monkey bars playing Star Trek ( I was the best 6-year-old Cpt.Kirk)
7. Both bones in right forearm; bicycle stunt - the tree won.
8. I was filing down a nut blank made of bone (goes on a giutar) and it broke.
9. Shin bone, playing an arcade football game (one of the ones you kick). Everyone laughed at me for ages until they realised it was broken. Then the shoe was on the other foot, they had to sit through hours of hospital waiting just for me.
10. Right pinky slamming it against the cabinet while playing video golf at a bar (surprise, surprise).
11. Left big toe....slammed it into the dresser whilst stumbling around drunk. (surprise, surprise)

You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.
In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.
He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.
