I'm about to check out the significance of Esmer's name on the 'net if I can...anyone with the usual SRD reading tools like an old english dictionary and such might could help me out? I really wonder about the green eyed boy...and there's ALWAYS a hidden message in names!

Isn't Esmer something chemistry-ish? Maybe? I don't know...I doubt that's what SRD was going for...

Isn't "anele" a typically SRD word for healing? Doesn't it appear in a poem about Andelain maybe? I don't have the books with me, at home on break...

anele
v.t. archaic anoint; administer extreme unction to.
says one online dictionary.

anele
A verb
1 anoint, inunct, oil, anele, embrocate

administer an oil or ointment to ; often in a religious ceremony of blessing
says another.

Hmmm...

According to my dictionary, it is the act of kneeling.

Maybe I'm thinking of a different spelling. Or completely wrong. Or desperately in need of sleep...Oh well, it's Esmer I'm really curious about...hope something turns up, Google sure didn't help...I'll check the SRD site at some point I'm sure...

To me the name Esmer evokes two different names. One is Mesmer, the inventor of curing with magnetism (mesmerize), the other is the painter Escher, who painted tricky pictures...

That showed up a lot in Google, but I doubt the dance had any influence...Maybe it has no meaning, but I would rather it did.

You lost me... this is significant why?
