While I don't rule anything out where SRD is concerned, I doubt it. Kas had gold, which seemed to be able to manipulate the wild magic that Covenant threw at him, but I'd be surprised if he could use regular gold to manipulate time from scratch the way white gold does.

Still, don't be surprised if sandgorgons pop out of a caesure somewhere near Linden. :D

It may have been the Croyel rather than the gold that allowed him to manipulate it. And I reckon the Croyel is Jeremiah, who has some link with the arch of time. But remember Esmer could manipulate the Caesures without White Gold. I'm talking about existing Caesures here.

I don't think the Croyel is Jeremiah. For one, the Braithrealm Croyel was killed by Findail. For another there were at lease two (remember the one empowering the Arghule). Lastly, Findail's talk about "bargaining with the Croyel" paints then as a "race" IMO, not an individual.
