Who would you travel with?

Post by Reisheiruhime »

For me, it would have to be Hollian or Cail. Hollian seems to be a nice kind of person, and Cail has proven himself time and time again to be a very worthy companion. And he can protect ya!

You couldn't ask for a better companion than Foamfollower. He can sing you along in a gildenlode boat, has plenty of diamondraught on hand, can entertain you with Giantish stories, carry you if you can't walk, and can even defend you if he has to. You need some clingor? Well, he's got that too. Trapped in a burning building? No problem. Need someone to carry you over molten lava? Yep. All that and he can still laugh in the face of the Despiser and his own demise as well.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Any jackass can kick down a barn, but it takes a good carpenter to build one.

Yes - It would have to be a Giant. Maybe the First or Mistweave if it couldn't be Salty since you all seem to have got dibs on him. I wouldn't mind spending a day or two in Andalain with Linden.

I'd travel with my alter ego, of course: Cable Seadreamer! What, you thought I was gonna say Lord Foul?! Anyway, with Cable, you won't have to put up with him going "are we there yet, are we there yet?"

Oh, and I'm glad somebody finally confessed they wouldn't mind taking Linden with them. Neither would I!

You are a very odd boy, Lord Foul. Did you have anything to do with the trees attacking me this morning? Did you?

I think I would like to travel with Bannor. I am a quiet person, and so is he. Plus he could keep me safe from any possible dangers.

There would be a certain peace, travelling with Bannor of the Bloodguard, wouldn't there? You could just relax and enjoy the Land, knowing that any harm that might come your way would be swiftly dealt with...

Would he be a trifle controlling though? What if you wanted to do something he considered dangerous?

Well, for one thing, he’d never understand the safety in bungee jumping.
