Just bought (and currently listening to) Cold Play's Parachutes.
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. Bought tonight from Apple, Matchbox 20's 3am and Counting Crows Round Here. My connection just isn't fast enough to buy full albums, each of those songs took me 20 minutes to download with my 56k connection. :?

Man... My family and I planned for a week or more to see that eclipse. From the day I read about it in the Lorresrat, I started telling my seven year old son all about eclipses. He was so excited! We were going to let him stay up late on a school night to see it - we had a nice dark spot all scouted...

And wouldn't you know - it was very cloudy here that night. :x :evil: :evil:

If I buy anything music-related in the near or distant future, it's got to be Animals by Pink Floyd.

Ive got the sound track to Braveheart playing at the moment....
Stone and Sea are deep in life,
two unalterable symbols of the world;
permanence at rest, and permanence in motion;
participants in the Power that remains.

I use Ares for downloading. I'm listening to some grunge right now like Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, the Smashing Pumpkins (I still consider them grunge). Also, the Led Zeppelin Greatest Hits album :)

I love those Led Zeppelin greatest hits albums. I have both early days and later days and listen to both frequently. :D I bought their new one, How the West Was Won, and have been giving that a good listening to, along with a compilation CD of jazz piano. :D

Today I've mostly been listening to Aenima by Tool, with some Lacuna Coil thrown in for good measure
