It was on the end of Kevin's arm. (groan)
How do they tell time in the land? Mini-arm-type-watch-style sundial thingies?

"The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing... not healing, not curing... that is a friend who cares." H Nouwen
Re telling the time, I thing much the same as in any agriculural society, that is by the suns passage through the sky: dawn - morning - noon - afternoon - sunset - night
They wouldn't have clocks as such, our obsession with time began with the railways, you know timetables. Note that there are no railways in the Land, nor factories.

I already described this when I made my "Hey everyone!" sort of post, but I'll summarize here, because I don't like repeating myself...
In a single sentence, no less.
"Google is a very good friend of mine.

I was searching for scifi/fantasy themed music, SRD was the target of choice, and the Metallica thread on the TC board came up.
That said, I'll admit that the initial main attraction was the Gap forum. Although my first posts were in the MN forum.
Well, I've never denied being an SRD fan.

Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing
